The nights are growing cold, the leaves are falling and much of the East coast saw it first snow in mid-November, but it’s time to heat up the NFL picks and separate the contenders from pretenders down the stretch. I’m so jacked up, I’m releasing a 6-pack of selections to get you into Thanksgiving week with some extra stuffing!

Let’s start off with TNF in Seattle. Seahawks are 7-1 on Thursday nights. Green Bay is 0-4 on the road and both teams are in must win territory. These teams have also played each other the last 4 years. Aaron Rodgers does great things, but this one goes Seahawks to win and cover the 2 1/2 pts

Philly certainly doesn’t look anything like a SB team and they’re the biggest underdogs of the week. Last defending SB champs to be this big of a dog was the Steelers in 09 when they lost to Baltimore by 3 as 9 point underdog. Eagles are getting 9 against the high flying Saints in New Orleans. Most think this is too easy for Brees and company, but I think the desperate Eagles find a way to keep it close to I’m taking the points.

Colts are at home and protecting Andrew Luck like a boss lately and that bodes poorly for the Tennessee Titans. They’ve been great of late, but are 0-9 versus Luck. Taking Indy at home and laying the 2 1/2.

Also going with the Vikings +3 at Chicago in a huge NFC north battle. Bears playing solid football, but not exactly mowing down any great teams. Vikings will find a way to get a big wig and make this division interesting again. Minnesota + 3 is the Pick

the last 2 selections:

New York Giants laying 1-1/2 at home against dismal Tampa Bay Bucs.

And I’l go the visiting KC Chiefs to cover the 3 1/2 pts in the La coliseum against the 9-1 Rams on MNF.  Chiefs +3

Gobble, Gobble
